LifeASSURE™ IMC Filter Cartridges
High Efficiency Membrane Cartridges for Industrial Applications

LifeASSURE™ IMC filter cartridges are high efficiency membrane filter elements designed for industrial applications. Utilizing CUNO's advanced FlexN™⁽¹⁾ membrane and Advanced Pleat Technology™ (APT™) construction⁽²⁾ LifeASSURE IMC provides much longer filter life with lower operating pressure drop when compared to other membrane cartridges. Designed with pleated Nylon 66 membrane in an all-polypropylene construction, LifeASSURE IMC filter cartridges are ideally suited for a wide range of industrial applications where high efficiency particle removal at 0.1µm, 0.2µm or 45µm particle sizes are required.

FlexN Membrane Technology 
LifeASSURE IMC cartridges filters incorporate CUNO's advanced FlexN membrane technology that maximizes contaminant holding capacity while maintaining high retention efficiency. FlexN membrane creates a multi-zone membrane that consists of an "open" zone on the upstream side of the membrane and a "tighter" zone on the downstream side. In effect, the open zone acts as a pre-filter by capturing larger particles and colloids while the tighter zone provides the retention of smaller contaminants. As shown in SEM photomicrograph (Figure 1), the multi-zone structure eliminates dual-layer membrane construction providing larger surface area, significantly increased contaminant holding capacity, longer service life, and lower operating pressure drop.
